Matriculation Processing Timeline

The Registrar’s Office will need to matriculate you into our student system in order for you to officially be seen as a student. This process will occur on March 1st. New students will then receive an email with their university account information from the institutions Information Management & System (IMS) Department. Once you have this information, you can then you log in to your student portal. The student portal provides information such as holds on your account for various things like transcripts, course audit, criminal background check, and immunization record form and possibly others. Various offices within the university are responsible for lifting these holds as you complete all your pre-matriculation items. Once all holds are removed you will be able to register for classes and receive financial aid. By early May the Registrar’s Office will email you with instructions on how to complete the web registration process.

Student Email Account Information

New students will then receive an email with their university account information (livemail email address assignment, domain name, student ID number), but the email will not include your password [this will be sent in a separate email at the same time]. Once you have this information, you can then you log in to your student portal. If you do not receive one or both of these emails, you will need to contact the Information Management & System (IMS) Department helpdesk at 210-567-7777 for assistance. The Registrar’s Office has no access to resend the communications, or to help reset your password.
